Merry Christmas 2013
As Christmas approaches and all of us are getting ready for The Festive Season it’s not unusual to look back at the year gone by and reflect.
2013 was another eventful year for Ausgoat, again trading approx. 170,000 goats this year which was only made possible with our amazing team of staff.
The Ausgoat Team
The Ausgoat Team saw a few changes in 2013. We said goodbye to John and Kathy at our Fords Bridge Depot and hello to our new depot manager Warren Ayre. In a new position as Domestic Sales Manager working from Cowra we also welcomed Craig Griffith.
We sadly said our goodbyes to our long term Senior Administration Officer, Teresa Ley, who has been with Ausgoat since 2006. Teresa has moved to Queensland with her family. We have been lucky to have the temporary assistance of Julie Hull here in the office.
Cassi Walmsley, who has run our Cobar Depot together with husband Tim decided it was time for a new challenge and will leave the goat yards and hard work to Tim. We are therefore currently looking for someone to give Tim a hand as well as driving our absolute newest member of the Ausgoat Team – a “new” Western Star prime mover with a 48ft 2 deck trailer which will be used to pick up and deliver many of the goats associated with our Cobar depot.
Position available
We are looking for a keen and hardworking stockman with truck licence to assist our Depot Manager at our Cobar Goat facility. Casual employment 5 days a week with some week-end work involved. Please email resume to Philip Lynn
Ausgoat now buying lambs
One of 2013’s new ventures for Ausgoat will be supplying lambs direct to our butchers. We are now interested in buying lambs, especially Dorpers and good merino lambs bought on a live weight basis delivered to “Gattaca”, Cobar. So if you are interested in supplying lambs to us, please call Tim on 0427 323928.
Holiday closure
Our Cobar and Ford's Bridge depots reopens on Saturday, 4th of January and the Glen Innes Depot will only be closed on Public Holidays. The Glen Innes Office will be closed from Monday, 23rd of December and reopens on Monday, 6th of January, 2014.
Goodbye 2013 – Greetings 2014
We thank you for your support and loyalty throughout 2013 and we are looking forward to your continued patronage as we embrace the many challenges that no doubt lie ahead. I am confident my remarkable team of staff will tackle them with gusto and energy as always.
Let me take this opportunity to wish each and every one of all our News Letter readers a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Best wishes from all of us.
