The beginning of 2012 has been a very busy time for Ausgoat.
Our brand new goat handling facility at Cobar was finally finished in January after much planning and hard work. We now operate the newest and most modern goat depot in NSW at “GATTACA”, which Ausgoat bought in late 2011. This brand new Goat Handling Facility incorporates many exceptional features like an overhead water sprinkler system, 50 head digital weigh bridge, multi level load out ramp, circular dual lane way internal yards and "spider-web" design larger 1-2 acre day holding yards with shade and shelter.
Our Glen Innes Office moved to new premises at 122 Bourke Street, Glen Innes from where our friendly office staff manage all the paperwork and keep in touch with everyone.
If you would like to meet The Ausgoat Team click on the 'Meet our Team' link or give us a call anytime! We are always at your service.
At our BOURKE depot new managers John & Kathy Johnston moved into Merita, and they are looking forward to seeing you (and your goats) very soon.
Prices for live goats have been under pressure as the Australian dollar rose against the US dollar. We are pleased to inform you that prices are on the move up again due to a drop in the dollar and the lack of supply due to the very wet weather we have experienced in the last few months.
